Members will conduct themselves in a respectful manner. This is not to say that arguments and disagreements between members are not permitted, simply that a level of respect is to be maintained in doing so. Posts, articles, blogs, and/or private messages not conducive to a positive and productive environment whichis left up to the interpretation of the forum Staff may be removed.
When personal disputes arise between members they will take their squabble to private message (PM). This does not apply to differences of opinion from which others will benefit (arguments pertaining to motorcycling technique, style, history, etc.).
Members will not post other members personal information without their permission, this includes private messages.
Members will not start a thread or continue a conversation with the intent of continuing the topic and/or post that was locked, removed, or under review.
Graphic images depicting violence are discouraged, with the exception of those that serve an educational purpose in the motorcycling community. Those that satisfy the educational clause would be linked and not directly visible in the thread. This link, and if possible the thread title, should carry a warning that such material may be offensive to some.
Links to copyrighted material is not tolerated and will be removed.

You are encouraged to provide support for any claims you make through the use of external sources.

Posting an offensive or contentious message with the intent of provoking flames or causing annoyance to the community is considered trolling. An example would be the repeated and unnecessary denigration of another with the aim of upsetting or antagonizing them.
Often times, one may wish to engage in sarcasm or a bit of wit; however, please exercise caution when doing so. Assaults on the character of other members are not tolerated at 702Sportbikes.
Harassment of other members is forbidden. Members are asked to keep signature images relatively small so that the forums may load quickly.
Links in signature may not be sites that are overly commercial in nature. Subtle self-promotion is allowed in signatures.

Account names should not have any vulgar language or sexual content, this is a family friendly website.
The account belongs to the registered owner of the email address associated with the account and only that person.
Members will not share accounts. Your account is yours and only yours.
Accounts will not be transferred to anyone.
Multiple accounts by the same user are not permitted without written authorization from 702Sportbikes.
If it is a found that a member has multiple accounts, the accounts will be merged at the discretion of a 702Sportbike administrator.
If you feel the need to change your account name, you should contact an Admin in Private Message.
Back seat moderating is not allowed on 702Sportbikes. If you notice an issue which may be against board policy, please use the Report Post Feature located on every post, and an 702Sportbikes Moderator will address the issue. Members who constantly act as moderators will be warned and/or banned.
Administrators may be required to read specific private messages in an investigation to verify a rule breach or illegal actions through the private message system.
The Staff Teams reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. 702Sportbikes also reserves the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right.
While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently 702Sportbikes reserves the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

In order to ensure that people are able to find what they’re looking for it is sometimes necessary to move threads from one forum to another. Posts made to inappropriate forums will be relocated.
At any time, moderators may contact a member by private message, email or other means and request that said member adheres to the rules. They may also request that a member edit or remove a post due to text or images they posted. Moderators , at their discretion, may edit or remove posts of members that have the rules.
At any time, moderators may close or remove any thread, especially if they deem it has turned from a discussion into an argument. Moderators will also remove threads that appear to be spam.
Members who threaten other members or staff of 702sportbikes in any way will have their accounts suspended or deleted without warning.
If a member breaches a minor board rule, they will be issued a 0 point infraction by a staff member.
If the member continues to breach the same rules, an infraction with a point value will be assigned to the member by a Staff Member with an expiration time.
Arguing with Staff Members after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning. Should this exceed three strikes, a suspension (temporary ban) will be put in place.
Any attempt to circumvent a suspension (temporary ban) will lead to that ban being made permanent.
Members who feel they have been unfairly warned are encouraged to contact one of the Administrators.
3 points and you will be banned for 7 days or until the infraction points expire.
4 points and you will be banned for 1 month or until the infraction points expire.
5 points and you will earn a permanent ban or until the infraction points expire.
Some infraction points never expire and will earn a Permanent Ban.
702Sportbikes reserve the right to ban anyone without notice.
