Use of this site is a privilege, not a right. Your ability to post here is based upon the sole discretion 702Sportbikes, LLC, who may at anytime and for any reason, which need not be disclosed, ban your account(s) and IP(s) from participating with or without any prior notice.

1. Member Responsibilities

   1. Members will conduct themselves in a respectful manner. This is not to say that arguments and disagreements between members are not permitted, simply that a level of respect is to be maintained in doing so. Malicious personal attacks, flaming, baiting, post whoring (posting with the sole purpose of increasing their overall post count), trolling, e-sniping, e-stalking, indirect attacks, and other such activities are not conducive to a positive and productive environment. Posts that constitute malicious personal attacks, flaming baiting, post whoring, trolling, e-sniping, e-stalking and indirect attacks are left up to the interpretation of the forum Moderators and Administrators. #
   2. When personal disputes arise between members they will take their squabble to private message (PM) when requested by Staff to do so. This does not apply to differences of opinion from which others will benefit (arguments pertaining to motorcycling technique, style, history, etc.). #
   3. Members will not post other members personal information without their permission, this includes private messages. #
   4. Members will not start a thread with the intent of continuing the topic of a thread that was closed or removed. #
   5. Any content posted to 702sportbikes.com immediately becomes the property of 702sportbikes.com and is therefore protected by 702sportbikes.com copyright. 702sportbikes.com reserves the right to use any content posted for other purposes. 702sportbikes.com will make reasonable efforts to contact the originator of content it wishes to reuse and acknowledge their submission when possible. 702sportbikes.com recognizes the copyrights of others and will remove any copyrighted material if requested to do so by the owner of said copyright. #
   6. Graphic images depicting violence are discouraged, with the exception of those that serve an educational purpose in the motorcycling community. Those that satisfy the educational clause would be linked and not directly visible in the thread. This link, and if possible the thread title, should carry a warning that such material may be offensive to some. #
   7. Frontal nudity, sexual acts or depiction thereof, is strictly forbidden on the 702sportbike site. This is to ensure a work safe site. #
   8. Related Sites & Cross Posting, no Shameless Promotions of other related Sites or Board Wars. There is no problem with occasionally using the name of other sites or even posting a link to a pertinent thread from another site, but repeatedly referring to other related sites is considered "SPAM" and is not allowed. Please have the decency of NOT putting links to them in your signature or have a post or PM telling our members to come over to another related site. #
   9. In order to ensure that people are able to find what they’re looking for it is sometimes necessary to move threads from one forum to another. Posts made to inappropriate forums will be relocated. #
   10. Multiple accounts by the same user are not permitted. If it is a found that a member has multiple accounts, all but the first registered account will be permanently suspended. #
   11. Members must keep there avatar and signatures within the images sizes listed below:
       avatar must fit inside the red box 150px x 150px.
       
       
       your entire signature must fit inside the red box 600px x 150px.
       that includes images as well as text you have displayed in this area.

   12. Following Moto Madness Monday(M3- weekly Monday meetup), a ride to one of several locations will be held. The ride is determined each Monday at M3. Please give your suggestion for ride location at M3, no other ride/event will be planned on the forums during or leaving m3. #

2. Repercussions

   1. At any time, moderators may contact a member by private message, email or other means and request that said member no longer post personal attacks, bait or flame other members, post whore or troll. They may also request that a member edit or remove a post due to text or images they posted. Moderators , at their discretion, may edit or remove posts of members that have violated the terms of service. #
   2. At any time, moderators may close or remove any thread, especially if they deem it has turned from a discussion into an argument. Moderators will also remove threads that appear to be spam. #
   3. Members who threaten other members or staff of 702sportbikes in any way will have their accounts suspended or deleted without warning. At any time, moderators may contact a member by private message, email or other means and request that said member no longer post personal attacks, bait or flame other members, post whore or troll. They may also request that a member edit or remove a post due to text or images they posted. Moderators may edit or removed posts of members that have violated the terms of service. #
   4. At any time, moderators may close or remove any thread, especially if they deem it has turned from a discussion into an argument. Moderators will also remove threads that appear to be spam. #
   5. Members who threaten other members or staff of 702sportbikes in any way will have their accounts suspended. #

3. Spamming

   1. Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes offering hosting services (charged and free), installation services, solicitation etc. Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed. If you wish to advertise on 702 Sportbikes please contact an Administrator. #
   2. Promoting one’s own site or forum is not allowed on 702Sportbikes, this includes self promotion, advertising and advertising related posts, notices for contests and show off posts and topics. Users may not promote their site through their posts, Such posts are considered spam and may lead to a warning. #
   3. Recruiting members for your own website in posts and topics is no longer permitted on 702Sportbikes and is considered spam. #

4. Signature Specific Rules

   1. Members are asked to keep signature images relatively small so that the topics may load quickly. Signature images are limited to a combined size of 12kb and no larger than 468px wide and 60px high. Flashy or animated images and flash is not allowed in signature images. #
   2. Text sizes must not be larger than a font-size of 100%, 5 lines of text is allowed with no images, or 2 lines of text with images. Random text signature script counts as a single line. #
   3. Links in signatures are limited to 5 links and must be unique pages or sites (i.e. 5 links pointing to the same external page/site are not allowed), Linked sites may not be overly commercial in nature. Subtle self-promotion is allowed in signatures. #
   4. Signature content must adhere to normal board rules with respect to decency. Signatures may NOT contain any of the following: Obscene, Racist, Sexually Explicit, Graven / Graphic, Offensive, Illegal or anything deemed Not family friendly. Offensive content will be removed and the user PMed or warned as necessary. #
   5. Signature content may be removed and/or signature permissions revoked if a user dismisses requests by staff to change or remove content. #

5. Avatar Specific Rules

   1. User defined avatars may contain mild animation. But must not be flashy or attract attention with the animation. #
   2. Avatars must NOT contain an image which attempts to portray the user as having an official status on 702Sportbikes (such a mimicking ranks or copying avatars of staff). #
   3. Avatars are subject to the same conditions as posts with respect to decency, and so forth. Avatars may NOT contain any of the following: Obscene, Racist, Sexually Explicit, Graven / Graphic, Offensive, Illegal or anything deemed Not family friendly. Offensive Avatars will be removed and the user PMed or warned as necessary. #
   4. Avatars may be removed and/or avatar permissions revoked if a user dismisses requests by staff to change or remove content. #

6. Moderation

   1. Back seat moderating is not allowed on 702Sportbikes. If you notice an issue which may be against board policy, please use the Report Post Feature located on every post, and an 702Sportbikes Moderator will address the issue. Members who constantly act as moderators will be warned. #
   2. Administrators may be required to read specific private messages in an investigation to verify a rule breach or illegal actions through the private message system. #
   3. The Staff Teams reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Staff Members and not users. 702Sportbikes also reserves the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right. #
   4. While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently 702Sportbikes reserves the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way. #
   5. All rules stated here apply to the entire site, including but not limited to trackers, tickets, blog posts and comments. #

7. Warning & Ban Policy

   1. If a member breaches a minor board rule, they will be issued an alert via Private Message by a staff member. This is not counted toward the official warning count of the member. #
   2. If the member continues to breach the SAME Forum Rule, an official Warning will be issued by an Staff Member. #
   3. Arguing with team members after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning. Should this exceed three strikes a suspension (temporary ban) will be put in place. #
   4. Any attempt to circumvent a suspension (temporary ban) will lead to that ban being made permanent. #
   5. Members who feel they have been unfairly warned are encouraged to contact one of the Team Leaders or Administrators. #
   6. Rule breaches in the chatbox such as arguing or flaming or if there is need to promote peace and enforce a short time-out period, a 30 minute to 24 hour suspension may be mandated at staff discretion. This is not counted towards the official warning total of a member. #
   7. Four warnings within 90 days will constitute an immediate permanent ban, warnings will expire after 90 days. #
   8. 702Sportbikes reserve the right to ban anyone without notice. #
