i was traveling 45 in a 35 and was pulled over @ tropical and lamb.
the officer asked the speed limit, i knew how fast i was going i looked down when he lite me up and we had just passed a 35mph limit sign.
had a short talk asking about arrests or any other citations. the officer verified i had a M endorsement and let me go with a warning.

passed NHP @ 85 in a 55 last night, and he let me off with a warning. lol, i thought he was crazy because he even gave me an opportunity to run.

I have had a few cool ones like that in the past year. I don't think they care so much about speeders. And in this heat they probably don't want to sit around writing a 10-over speeding ticket that they know you will take to MotoVegas! lol

+1 I have been pulled over a couple of times since moving here 5 years ago and haven't had any problems. The one ticket I got was for +10 in school zone and the guy totally gave me cop-itude, but whatever. Twice I got pulled so they could check my papers and each time they were really nice about it. I actually appreciate them spot checking for stolen bikes.

I had a metro cop on a Harley pull me over doing 87 in a 35 AFTER the front wheel came down. After I gave him all my paper work and M he surpisingly gave me just a warning I was pretty shocked. He prob. didnt feel like filling out all that damn paper work..

Dude. Metro stopped me by the 215/Summerlin Parkway exit. I had blasted up Summerlin Pkwy/95 at 100+ the whole way. He (on a Harley) finally caught up to me after I got to 215 and did a u-turn through a red light. He was following me as soon as I got on Summerlin Pkwy. Just checked my license and sent me on my way. Got extremely lucky that day!

Not so lucky. 100+ near 215/Hualapai on the North Side, Metro on a bike got me on the off ramp and checked my papers. He was cool about it, but I still got the ticket. He said the only reason I didn't go to jail was because I'm legal. I said the past 5 riders he stopped had no insurance, no M endorsement, no registration, nothing. So, he let me off easy with just a ticket. I was greatful, but still wish he just gave me a warning.

Are they still taking pictures of the bikes and the riders gear? I'm in Afghanistan right now, so I've been out of the loop on things. I'll be returning within a week, so I just want to know if I should pull out my extra helmets and jackets.
